What is an Apostille?

The California Secretary of State provides an Apostille to authenticate California public officials’ signatures on documents to be used outside the United States of America.

Our company handles in a timely manner the complete Apostille process for documents to be used abroad. For the countries belonging to the Hague Convention, the Apostille process, which involves only the Secretary of State of California, is enough. However, for the countries who are not members of the Hague Convention, like most countries in the Middle East, such process is longer and often also includes,

dealing with the embassy of the countries where the documents will be used, with the Department of State in Washington, and with the Chamber of Commerce. Please call us at 800 263 7678 to inquire about what needs to be done for your specific document.

Not all documents requiring an Apostille need to be notarized. If they do, we will notarize them during our visit to your place. If they do not need to be notarized, we will be able to handle the process through mail or email.
